Our pool repair services

We repair, replace, and upgrade swimming pool and spa equipment. While we can provide free estimates over the phone to replace equipment, my fee to troubleshoot a technical problem and provide an itemized bid starts at $150 for residential customers. When it comes to repairing heaters, the diagnosis is often the most difficult part of the repair and requires the most skilled technician. At Technical Pool Repair, we are knowledge workers and we charge for what we know rather than our time to swap parts. We don't guess, we troubleshoot.
Why don't we do free estimates? We believe that free estimates are not in the customer's best interest. If a company offers a free estimate, they are sending you a salesman, not a technician. The salesman's job is to sell you something, not give you an honest assessment of your equipment and the advisability of the repair. By the time the salesman gets to your house and spends an hour with you, he needs to make a sale to pay for his time. You haven't paid him anything yet, so he is not working for you, he is working for himself.
On the other hand, when you pay Technical Pool Repair to come out, you are paying for an honest assessment of your equipment and a diagnosis of your problem. You are paying us to be your advocate. When we give you a diagnosis, we don't need to make a sale to recoup our expense, since you already agreed to pay for our knowledge, experience, and assessment upfront.
We stock hundreds of parts on our service truck and complete 80% of repair calls on the first trip. Visit our Home page for a tour of the truck
In person, we take cash, checks, and use a Square chip reader to accept credit cards. If you can’t be home when your service is performed, we will send you an invoice and you can pay online from your phone or computer. We use an online service called Markete for inquires, appointments, estimates, and invoices. This lets us stay in better contact with you as we work together.
In order to provide our customers with the highest quality repairs and upgrades, we have chosen to specialize in pool and spa equipment. As such, we don't clean pools, re-plaster, repair tile, or replace vinyl liners -- though we know good people who do. Here's list of pool service professionals and specialty contractors that we recommend
