About Us
Unlike most pool professionals, Technical Pool Repair does not clean pools. We spend 100% of our time doing repair and replacement work. This means that we have more equipment repair experience than does the average pool service person who spends 90% of his time cleaning. Whereas your average pool man might repair a few heaters a month, we repair a few heaters a day. Experience
Technical Pool Repair is owned and operated by Clint Combs. Clint started Technical Pool Repair in 1998 shortly after moving to California from Kansas where he got his start in the pool business in 1990. Clint is well respected by his colleagues who often call him for advice and refer him on their technical jobs. Clint is an active member of the United Pool Association and regularly attends manufacturer training seminars. In addition, Clint has taken several college courses in electronics, engineering, and business. Clint has a BA from Wichita State University and an MA from Claremont Graduate University where he was also in a PhD program.
